13th September 2011......The Minister for Information Communication and Technology Honourable Samuel Poghisio today commissioned the first of yuMobile’s revamped Relationship Centres at Essar House in Nairobi.

The Centre is the first of several relationship centres to be rolled out countrywide as part of yuMobile’s expansion plan intended to serve its rapidly growing number of subscribers countrywide.

The outlet will provide a range of services such as yuMobile data settings, postpaid activation, bill payments, selling of prepaid lines, airtime, modems and handset sales.

Speaking as he officially commissioned the shop, Hon. Samuel Pogishio lauded yuMobile on the launch of this shop noting that it demonstrated the company’s commitment to it’s subscribers.

Madhur Taneja, yuMobile Country Manager Madhur Taneja reaffirmed the company’s focus on it’s customers, adding that “As our business continues to grow, we intend to expand our Relationship Centres across the country in efforts to improve and provide better customer service experience to our consumers. The opening of this new shop is in line with our values of caring and simplicity. Caring means that we realize that our subscribers are at the core of our business and we constantly seek ways of enhancing customer experience. More importantly, the opening of this centre is also a symbolic renewal of our spirit to serve our subscribers with an even greater commitment.”

While touring the centre, the Minister registered for yuMobile’s mobile money transfer - yuCash and donated towards the Kenya Red Cross Sinai Fire tragedy support efforts via yuCash Paybill number 200140.
