How to Increase Fuliza Limit Fast 2022: 6 Secrets Shared!

Most of us constantly run to Fuliza when we do not have enough money in our MPESA but get disappointed by the lender’s small limit. So, today, I’ll share tips on how to increase Fuliza limit.

Organically, you can increase your Fuliza limit by transacting with Fuliza often, using MPESA and Safaricom services continually, repaying Fuliza in time, and staying away from CRB blacklisting.

Usually, the Fuliza limit for new customers is always small, mostly Ksh 500.  Realistically, there isn’t much to do with Ksh 500.

So, what if your limit was Ksh 4,000? I’m sure you would love that!

Well, I’m going to share with you tips I’ve used and some I’ve learned from other people that can improve your MPESA Fuliza limit.

Naturally, Safaricom reviews Fuliza limits after three months. So, you can grow your limit organically within three months, as I’ll share. But if three months seem like forever, you should try the hack way, which I’ll also share.

But first, what is Fuliza?

Some people assume that Fuliza is a loan service. Spoiler alert! It’s not.

Fuliza is an overdraft service that NCBA bank offers through Mpesa. The service allows you to complete MPESA transactions, including sending money and paying bills, when you don’t have enough money in your MPESA wallet.

You can opt into Fuliza by dialing *234#. After that, select the Fuliza option and follow the steps that ensue.

How to Increase Fuliza Limit from Zero Organically

Safaricom recommends several tips that you can use to increase your Fuliza limit naturally.

Since Safaricom reviews Fuliza limits after three months, following these tips could help you get a higher limit in 3 months or increase your limit from zero.

The tips include:

1. Transact with Fuliza Often

According to Safaricom, you can grow your Fuliza naturally by transacting with the service. So, even if you don’t want to borrow from the overdraft service, sometimes it helps to use it to pay a few bills.

To Safaricom, that shows you are loyal to the service. So, they are likely to improve your limit.

2. Continue Using MPESA and Safaricom Services

Another recommendation by Safaricom is to continue using MPESA and Safaricom services. So, it’s not just about staying loyal to Fuliza but Safaricom as a whole.

So, continue buying airtime from MPESA, calling and texting using Safaricom, borrowing and paying Okoa Jahazi, among other services available to Safaricom users.

3. Repay Your Fuliza On Time

If you want to enjoy a Fuliza increase, you must pay your Fuliza loan before the due date. Even better, do it earlier. Doing so builds trust with the provider, and as a result, you will likely receive a higher limit.

Remember, Fuliza gives you a 30-day period to repay all your outstanding balances. That’s enough tie to pay them back and probably borrow again.

Remember, Safaricom will lose trust in you if you fail to pay the amount in time. And if that’s the case, then you may lose your limit. But since they claim to be understanding, they promise to restore your limit after you pay the money together with the interests that build up every day.

But if you ask me, the interests can be hefty. So, it’s best to pay the loan in time.

4. Stay Away from CRB

Lastly, you can increase your Fuliza limit organically by staying away from the credit marshal, CRB.

While having Fuliza doesn’t forbid you from borrowing from other lenders, especially using the best loan apps in Kenya, you could fail to improve your limit if the lenders blacklist you. Or worse, you could lose your limit entirely.

So, try to pay the other lenders in time to keep a clean record with the Credit Reference Bureau (CRB).

How to Increase Fuliza Limit the Hack Way

Let’s face it; three months can be a long time to wait for your Fuliza limit to grow naturally. How about you catapult everything. These two secrets can help you achieve that in the shortest time possible:

5. Opt-Out and then Into Fuliza

Yes! You heard that right. You can quit Fuliza and then recede. Let me say that three things can happen here:

  • One, Safaricom may lower your limit, which is the worst scenario
  • Two, Safaricom may restore your previous limit, which doesn’t make sense, given that your goal is a higher limit
  • Three, Safaricom may improve your limit, which is the most probable scenario

So, what if Safaricom lowers your limit, or it gets to zero?

Ordinarily, you would panic in such a case. But from experience, that’s not a major blow. You can try opting out and opting in again. The chances are that you’ll get a higher limit than what you had previously.

If you are wondering How to Opt Out of Fuliza, here are your options:

Option 1 – Through USSD

If you are using a Kabambe phone or if you don’t have the MySafaricom app on your phone, you can follow these steps:

  • Dial *234# on your phone
  • Select the Fuliza option
  • Scroll down to opt out

After you are through with the steps, you will receive a message from Mpesa, regretting seeing you leave.

Option 2 – Through MySafaricom App

You can also download the MySafaricom app from Google Play or the Apple Store and install it on your phone.

Then, you can follow these steps to opt-out from Fuliza:

  • Log into the app
  • Choose the Mpesa option
  • Click on Fuliza Mpesa
  • Select the opt-out option

If all goes well, you will likely receive a higher and new Fuliza limit once you opt in.

6. The 1000 Technique

This is a pretty new trick that I recently learned. Well, if your loan limit is below Ksh 1,000, you can try this trick.

Here’s how it goes:

  • Activate Mshwari on your phone
  • Deposit Ksh 1,000 on your phone
  • Move it into Mshwari and back as often as you can

According to some users, that helps boost your limit within a short period. The advantage is that it also increases your Mshwari limit since you’ll be using the service.
